Step beyond the backyard fence and into Everwood Crossing, where an ancient tree waits beneath the twilight sky. Carved into its living bark are many small wooden doors, and every eight days one begins to glow.

Only three siblings, Emilia, Eve, and Jeff, can see the light. When they place their hands against the warm wood, the door opens to a gentle world that needs kindness, courage, imagination, or laughter.
